Seven killed in Maiduguri suicide bomb blast

A case of suicide bomb blast has occurred in Mandarari ward in Konduga LGA of Borno State.The State Police Command said on Friday that the bombing has resulted in the death of seven persons following an attack by two suspected female suicide bombers.An officer of Borno State Police Command Public Relations Unit, Malam Murtala Ibrahim established the incident in a statement he made public in Maiduguri.He said: “Yesterday at about 22.45 hours, two suspected female suicide bombers detonated explosives strapped to their bodies at Mandarari ward in Konduga LGA, killing themselves and five others.“Six persons sustained various degrees of injuries.“The corpses and injured persons were evacuated to General Hospital Konduga, and normalcy restored to the area.”Report from the News Agency of Nigeria reminded of the case of three suspected female suicide bombers killed as they tried attacking a military station near Muna garage in Maiduguri suburban area on Wednesday.
