Siasia’s Mother Regains Freedom

It has emerged that the abducted mother of Nigeria’s Under-23 National Team Coach, Samson Siasia has been released.The release of Mrs Beauty Siasia was confirmed by the police in Bayelsa State through its spokesperson, ASP Asinim Butswat who explained that the abductors effected the release of Siasia’s mother sequel to a clampdown on their location by operatives of the Anti-Kidnapping Unit of police in the state.The police spokesman added that the 72 year-old Mrs Siasia, who was abducted on November 16, was dropped off at about 1.30am on Saturday.Butswat said, “She is hale and hearty and has been reunited with her family and the police have intensified efforts to arrest the fleeing suspects,” he said.
