Senate on Wednesday has ordered the immediate pause of the hike in data tariff of GSM subscribers by the Nigerian Communications Commission planned to begin on the 1st of December.
Telecom giants MTN and Etisalat in compliance with the directive had started sending out messages to its numerous subscribers on the possible increase.Citing the reason for the demand, the Senate said all parties affected were not duly appraised.More details on this, later.
