Swedes mourn victims of truck attack

Swedes congregate for a minute of silence Monday in memorial of victims of last week’s truck attack by an Uzbek man, whom police suspect was jihadist sympathizer.Crowd of sympathizers assembled mournfully at the Ahlens department store at the corner of the Drottninggatan pedestrian street, site of attack, where a stolen beer truck ran into shoppers and breaking into the store’s frontage, leaving behind casualties.Reports had it that the suspect had confessed, claiming he was contacted by the Islamic State group to execute the violent attack against “infidels”.The sympathizers gather under the gloomy weather condition in observance of a minute of silence at noon (local time), many of who are moved to tears in front of a pack of flowers and candles.
