The Burial of Former NUPENG Chairman

By Correspondent

Mr Adeyemo Adetona Adedoyin, who is the Former Chairman of National Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas (NUPENG), was allegedly murdered in his house at the Mafoluku area of Oshodi, Lagos State, has been buried today where families and friends were thrown in agony. He was said to be a kind-hearted man and a philanthropist, but see how he was buried like a nobody and this didn’t go down well with the family members.Adedoyin   retired as Transport Quality Controller of Total Exploration and Gas Production, Tower House, Victoria Island, where he was working in January to establish his private company before he was allegedly hacked to death. Members of his family had put a call to the Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni, to ensure that the police handling the case are doing it with all seriousness. The Police’s initial autopsy had stated that the man died of natural causes, but the family still believe there is more to his death. “The police investigating the death connived with the suspect to doctor the autopsy report. They presented an autopsy report, which stated that the man died of heart attack when he had bruises all over his body.“We opposed the autopsy report before morticians at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) conducted another one, which discovered that he was murdered.  The new report stated that he had injuries, indicating that he was beaten to death.“One of his wives was detained alongside other persons, but were released after the controversial autopsy was presented. That is why we are appealing to the police high command to fish out his killers.
