The Lyon midfielder says that he thinks a move to the Premier League would be good for him as the league suits his style and that he dreams of the North London side
Lyon midfielder Corentin Tolisso has admitted he dreams of a future at a club like Arsenal, Barcelona or Real Madrid, suggesting a move to the Premier League would be his preferred option. The 22-year-old came through the ranks of the Lyon youth academy and has developed into a key figure at the Ligue 1 giants since making his first-team debut in August 2013.He has hinted his future could lie elsewhere, though, as he set his sights on a move abroad.Tolisso reveals that price tag pressure led to Napoli snub “There are a lot of clubs that make me dream like Real Madrid, Barcelona or an English club like Arsenal,” Tolisso told France Football.“I like the Premier League and I think it’s a league that suits me.“The Premier League is the most competitive, the most open and the most spectacular league.”Tolisso was close to joining Napoli during the off-season, but eventually opted to stay put at Lyon and he has no regrets over his decision to snub a move to Serie A.FIFA 17’s top Ligue 1 players revealed“I had some doubts about whether to stay at Lyon or not when Napoli came knocking, but I have already turned the page,” he added.“My priority was to have a good season with Lyon once I made the decision to reject Napoli. “I made a decision from the heart. I know there would have been advantages had I gone there, but Lyon is not about money.”Discover more from NewsBreakers
