US First Lady Urges Liberian Girls to Stay in School

United States First Lady, Michelle Obama, has urged Liberian girls to fight to stay in school.Mrs Obama made this appeal as she visited the West African country where the vast majority drop out of school due to financial pressures.For a project named GLOW (Girls Leading Our World), aimed at boosting active citizenship, Obama met with girls and young women.GLOW “Let Girls Learn” education initiative was launched in March 2015, and Obama has since travelled the globe to call for greater support for the millions of girls kept away from school or forced to abandon their studies.She was accompanied by her two daughters Malia and Sasha.
