Jonathan Zikiye says Kano Pillars have a task to beat Niger Tornadoes in their NPFL Match Day 38 tie in Kano on Sunday for their fans who have been left disappointed by the club’s inability to qualify for a Caf Club competition again this term.Pillars are currently seventh on the log with 51 points from 35 matches but will still finish the campaign outside the clubs representing Nigeria in Africa next year even with a big win against Tornadoes at the Sani Abacha Stadium, Kano on Sunday after an inconsistent ridden season.“We agree that we didn’t perform up to expectations of our fans and we are looking forward to the final fixture of the season against Tornadoes to say sorry to our fans,” Â Zikiye told Goal.“We will like to win the game well so that other clubs will still have us in mind that we finish the season strongly and will be keen to come back with a bang next season.“We will address our weaknesses at the end of the season and next season will be better.”
