- Tap on Contacts-here, you will find a list of suggested contacts, that YouTube feels “You may know” with a quick shortcut to add them.

- Tap on the three dots icon on the top right corner to find options like ‘adding a participant’ (to turn it into a group conversation), leave the chat and mute notifications.
- You can even create a group from the beginning itself by tapping on New Group under the shared tab. You will first have to create a group name and then add participants from your contacts.
- Open YouTube and login with your account and go to Home Page>look for a “Share” button between the bell and quick launcher>click on that icon and you will find the list of contacts that you have on YouTube.
- To add a new contact, click on “Contacts” on the right corner of the tab.
- Here, a list of suggested contacts, that YouTube feels “You may know” with a quick shortcut to add them will appear.
- If you do not find the desired person on the suggested list, there is only one way to add them, which is via sending an invitation link. This is a customised link you need to share with your friends for them to add them in your contacts.
- The options of creating a group, leaving a conversation, muting notifications are available on desktop as well.
