2016 Budget: FEC Holds Emergency Meeting Monday

An emergency meeting of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) is expected to hold on Monday at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.The meeting will take a look at the Medium Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF) ahead of the final preparation of the 2016 Appropriation Bill.Specifically, Budget and National Planning Minister, Senator Udoma Udo Udoma, while briefing State House Correspondents, revealed that the ministry will meet council for possible approval of the MTEF.According to the Minister, “As you may know, this administration is introducing zero based budgeting, which means that every activity must be justified in accordance with the principles of the administration.”
