Despite the controversy surrounding the health of President Muhammadu Buhari and the attendant non-performance, his re-election posters, on Tuesday, flood major roads in Abuja.The posters were carefully displayed at strategic positions within the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, with the inscription: ”˜Nigerians resolve: Buhari 2019’, along the Central Business District, Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport road, as well as Wuse District of the FCT.The ”˜Sai Baba for Life’ mantra which most people think is a thing of the past, rented the air of Abuja, on Tuesday night, after the report that he had fully resumed back to work hit the nation.While stakeholders had continued to advise that the ailing President forgets about the Presidency for now and concentrates on his health, some of his Aides and supporters had argued that the President was healthy enough to seek a second term. Buhari, who had missed three consecutive Federal Executive Council, FEC, meetings over his health, was also reported to have been conspicuously absent at the wedding of his grandson, at the weekend. This situation raised concerns and comments over his health. The former Interim National Chairman of the All Progressive Party, Bisi Akande, in statement issued on Monday, in Osun State, advised those working with the President, to stop feasting on the ill-health of the President.Minister of Transport, Rotimi Amechi, and the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Ibe Kachikwu, had before now argued that President Buhari was strong enough to run for a second term in 2019. He also added that, the president would also win the election once more.While prayers are still on for the president for total health recovery, his supporters in Benue state have also painted major streets of the State capital, Makurdi, with his 2019 Presidential posters with more inscriptions: “Nigerians resolve, Buhari 2019, after healing, comes greatness, just believe.”
