Synagogue Tragedy: T.B Joshua Dragged to Court over Death

Prophet T.B Joshua of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), has been dragged before a Lagos High Court sitting in Igbosere, by two South African children. They sued the SCOAN founder alongside seven others over the death of their father in the September 2014 building collapse in the church. Specifically, six-year-old Nora Furah Wa Kalambaie and her three-year-old brother Bulungu Malaika Wa Kalambaie, initiated the court action. The siblings are praying the court for an order, compelling Joshua and other defendants to pay them R8,772,000 as cost and damages for the death of their father, Kalambaie Wa Kalambaie. Joined as co-defendants are: Registered Trustees of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, Jadny Trust Limited; Hardrock Construction and Engineering Company and two engineers, Oladele Ogundeji and Akinbela Fatiregun.  Others are; The Lagos State Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice and the State Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development.
