UI Rusticates 97 Students

Ninety-seven students of the University of Ibadan (UI), have been sent packing by the Senate of the institution, over failure to obtain the minimum academic requirements at the end of the 2014/15 session. The affected students, according to a bulletin released by the Registrar of the university, Olujimi Olukoya, were from seven faculties. The bulletin reads: “Senate at its meeting recently approved that the candidates whose names appear on this list should withdraw from the university for failure to obtain the minimum academic requirements at the end of the 2014/2015 session.”
