89 Boko Haram Members Sentenced to Death in Cameroon

A military court in Cameroon has sentenced 89 Boko Haram members to death. The court convicted them on charges that touch on terror and for their roles in many attacks in Cameroon’s northern region which border Nigeria. The country had passed an anti-terror law in 2014 which introduced the death sentence. However, this would be the first time the anti-terror law would be implemented since it was passed.
