Alleged Bid Rigging: Judge to Decide Against Former NIMASA DG, May 20

Justice Rita Ofili Ajumogobia of the Federal High Court has set aside May 20 to deliver judgement in a N1.5 billion contract scam charge made against the former Director-General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Raymond Omatseye. He was dragged before the court by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on a 27-count charge that touches on bid rigging and contract splitting.
