Three men; Eric Ahouso (22), Shina Agbosi (32) and Wale Fatai (23), have been docked before an Ikeja Magistrates Court sitting in Ikeja over alleged armed robbery.They were arraigned by the police before Magistrate (Mrs)O.A Olayinka over allegation of robbery to the tune of N265, 000.Besides, the defendants were said to have armed themselves with gun and other offensive weapons with which they dispossessed their victim, one Habibat Musa of a Samsung Galaxy phone valued at N85, 000, one Nokia phone valued at N3, 500 and cash sum to the tune of N150, 000.The defendants were said to have committed the alleged offence on September 24, 2015 at Sabonkoji Village, Amuwo Odofin Local Government Area of Lagos State.They were particularly dragged before the court to proffer answers to the two-count charge of conspiracy and armed robbery made against them by the police.But they pleaded not guilty to the charge which the prosecutor, Inspector Benson Emuerli insisted is punishable under section 297 and 295(2)(a) of the Criminal Laws of Lagos State ,2011.Further hearing on the matter has been adjourned to December 7, 2015.
