Benue State Police Command arrests three-man gang of robbers

Three-man gang of robbers, who shot a commercial motorcyclist, were nabbed by the Benue State Police Command.The spokesman of the Command, ASP Joel Yamu said on Monday May 1 that a police patrol team arrested the gang of robbers at about 9pm on April 22.Those paraded were one Sunday Micheal, Samuel Orinya and Oche Vincent with two locally-made pistols around Dunamis Church opposite Benue State University second gate.The suspects were caught after shooting a motorcyclist, James Aondonenge, of Logo II area Makurdi, on his thigh and back in an attempt to dispossess him of his motorcycle but they ran out of luck when the victim alerted the Policemen.According to the police, the suspects would be charged to court soon.
