Bode George Declines Interest in PDP Chairmanship

By Correspondent

Chief Olabode George, the one-time Deputy National Chairman of   the   Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has made a declaration that he has no ambition to become the next chairman of the party. The party chieftain, therefore, called for the zoning of the party’s chairmanship position to the South West, just as he posited that the region remains the only one that has not got the position since 1999. He charged the interim national chairman of the party, Senator Ali Modu Sherrif to stand by his word that he would be handing over to an elected chairman at the National   Convention on May 21 this year.
