Breaking: Buhari Appoints Ibrahim Kpotun as New Inspector General of Police

President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed an Assistant Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Kpotun Idris, from Niger State, as the new acting Inspector General, the News Agency of Nigeria has reported.Mr. Idris’ appointment follows the retirement of Mr Solomon Arase who attains the compulsory retirement age of 60.Mr Idris was the AIG in charge of operations at the force headquarters, Abuja.
