(Breaking) Supreme Court Affirms Taraba Governor’s Election

The Supreme Court of Nigeria, on Thursday, upheld the election of the incumbent governor of Taraba State, Darius Ishaku, who contested under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). The apex court, which set aside February 22, 2016 to give reasons for its decision, also dismissed the appeal initiated by the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Aisha Al-Hassan, for lacking in merit.
