Nigeria’s Federal Government may be planning to file fresh charges against the President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki and his Deputy, Ike Ekweremadu according to reports going round, Though the charges were withdrawn by the Federal Government last week, it may be filed afreshThe Senate Leaders, Saraki and Ekweremadu, along with a former Clerk of the NationalAssembly, Salisu Maikasuwa, and a former Deputy clerk, Ben Efeturi, were first arraignedbefore Justice Yusuf Halilu on June 10, 2016, on charges bordering on forgery of Senate Ruleswhich they all pleaded not guilty to.Last week, the Federal Government withdrew the charges  leveled against the principal officersof the National Assembly.Save
