Davido threatens to drag Dammy Krane to court for defamation

Afrobeats star, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido’s lawyers have issued a cease and desist letter to singer, Oyindamola Emmanuel, also known as Dammy Krane, demanding a retraction of a viral tweet that labeled Davido a “murderer” and “cheat.”The tweet, which mocked Davido’s upcoming wedding, has been deemed defamatory and offensive.Dammy Krane wrote, “There’s nothing worse than murder #davido You fit get money but you no fit get peace #Karma.“Ps: Dont ever get married because your girl caught you cheating you wan gbe-iya-wo…”The lawyers stated that Davido, a globally recognised music star and philanthropist, has never been charged or convicted of any offence, including murder.They demanded that Dammy Krane remove the tweet and cease defaming Davido within 24 hours or face legal action, reports Punch.
