Dead Stowaway found on Nigerian – South Africa flight

By Akinwande OnadekoA stowaway was reportedly found dead in the main wheel well of one of Arik’s Air A330-220 airplane at the Oliver Tambo International Airport, Johannesburg, South Africa. This was confirmed by Arik’s communications manager, Ola Adebanji. The body was discovered by engineers of the South African Airways Technical facility during a scheduled routine maintenance check of the airplane. The aircraft departed the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos at 3:55 pm Tuesday and arrived in Johannesburg shortly before 11 pm.
