Facebook Live showcase man’s act of murder and suicide

Facebook Live has featured the video displaying the death of a man and child. The video containing a man, who allegedly committed the murder and suicide was the latest example of the social media video used to broadcast gruesome crimes. Thai Police said Tuesday. An alert from friends of the man got to the officers on the southern resort island, while they rushed to an abandoned hotel near the international airport on Monday afternoon. “They had already died when I arrived there,” Lieutenant Jullaus Suvannin, one of the early arrivals at the site told AFP, stating that a smartphone was found resting against a wall.Police statement suspected the man has previously had an argument with his wife before he hung his child and himself. Media footage showed the sad mother of the murdered child and husband’s corpse being picked up, as she was flanked by relatives. Facebook’s CEO, Mark Zuckerberg has intended to keep the world’s leading social medium free of sights of heinous crimes, like murder and suicide. He also replied to a video posted on Facebook Live by a man in US state of Ohio showcasing how he approached a stranger in the street and shooting him dead. The man thereafter shot himself dead following a hot police chase to capture him. Zuckerberg admitted Facebook had “a lot of work” to do on the issue while speaking last Wednesday. “We are going to work on building common ground, not just getting more opinions out there,” he said. A warning from Phuket’s governor has been passed Tuesday afternoon to Thais discouraging them from spreading the video of the murder and suicide, which could still be available online.
