Former PDP Chairman, Others Defects to APC

 A one-time National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dr Okwesilieze Nwodo; former Minister of Labour and Productivity, Dr Emeka Worgu and former House of Representatives Speaker, Agunwa Anakwe, have defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC). Others include Senators Emma Agboti, Chris Adighije, Nkechi Nwogu and Ifeanyi Ararume. They converged in Enugu where they made a pledge to take over governance in the zone come 2019 for the APC. Even though Nwodo was absent at the meeting, his wife, Dorothy, was present at the meeting, apparently to represent him.
