Acne
This is a skin condition common in adolescents and it is usually on the face as pimples. Pimple shows up on the face when the pores on your skin become clogged with a type of oil called sebum that lubricate the skin and hair. So, to prevent the break out of pimples:- You need to wash your face twice a day with warm water and mild soap. Don’t scrub your face; so, you just massage it gently. When you over scrub your face, it causes skin irritation.
- Do not pop pimples. I know how you could be tempted to pop it. You should not pop pimples because infected materials can be placed on the skin which can lead to swelling, redness and scars.
- Avoid touching your face regularly. It can spread bacteria and cause pores to become irritated.
- If you get acne on your body, do not wear tight clothes because they do not allow the skin to breathe.
- If you are a type that wears sunglasses, make sure you clean it often. This will prevent the oil from clogging the pores around your eye or your nose.
- Remove your makeup every night. Also, when you want to buy your make up product, choose brands that read “noncomedogenic” or “nonacnegenic” on the label.
- Always try to keep your hair clean and out of your face. This will prevent dirt and oil from clogging your pores.
