Kogi Guber Poll: Bello Replaces Audu

National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, on Saturday announced Yahaya Bello as replacement for late former governor of Kogi State and governorship candidate of the APC, Prince Abubakar Audu. The reason for the party’s decision to pick Bello as the party’s candidate for the December 5, 2015 governorship election hinged on the reason that he emerged second in the primary.Consequently, APC declared that James Faleke who was running mate to late Audu will retain his position as Bello’s deputy.Reacting to the development, Head of Media, Abubakar Audu/James Faleke Campaign Organisation, Dr Tom Ohikere, noted that the decision was, “Illegal and a moral burden on Oyegun and other members of the national working committee.”
