N1000 Levied On Ibadan Poly Students as Institution Reopens

 The management of the Polytechnic in Ibadan, Oyo State has announced that its students resume for their academic activities on April 4, with a N1, 000 reimbursement fee which must be paid once they get into the school premises. The Registrar, Hezekiah Feyitola, disclosed this information in a signed statement that was made available to newsmen in Ibadan. Contained in the statement is the reason for the N1, 000 reparation fee, which covers the damage meted on the institution’s property during a violent protest carried out by the students in February 2016. The students took to the streets over the payment of insurance, information and communication technology (ICT) fees, which was imposed on them by the Students Union ”ŽGovernment (SUG) executives.
