Naira loses strength in interbank market, falls to 485 per dollar

The naira currently exchanged at 485 naira to a dollar at the parallel market on Wednesday in Lagos while the pound sterling and euro traded at 600 and 510 naira respectively.

The naira still continues to depreciate despite efforts made by the CBN and other forex market authorities in fast-tracking its recovery.At the Bureau De Change (BDC), the naira closed at 399 naira per dollar while the pound sterling and euro closed at 600 and 512 respectively.
