Nasarawa By-election to Hold on May 28

 The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has fixed May 28 for the conduct of a by-election for Nasarawa/Toto seat in the state’s House of Assembly. The seat became vacant following the death of Musa Baba-Onwana, who represented the constituency in the assembly. The deceased was a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC). The Administrative Secretary of INEC in Nasarawa, Dr Mudashiru Mustapha made the date for the by-election known at a stakeholders’ meeting in Lafia on Thursday. He, however, said that the date was subject to approval by the commission’s headquarters in Abuja.
