Officials in Nepal on Friday informed of the wild search for a tiger that killed two women within a month and a half in areas close by the country’s largest national park.The officials numbering 20, have on the list forest rangers and veterinarians, including six elephants were deployed in the thick forest of Chitwan National Park in south-central Nepal, the protected area officer Nurendra Aryal said.“We received a letter from the district forest office of Nawalparasi, which requested us to capture the animal after it killed two women in the area.’’Similar report was received mid-February, when the tiger killed a 60-year-old woman, who was collecting feed for her livestock in the forest.The notorious tiger also pounced on a 61-year-old woman last week in the same area, where she was gathering fodder.Aryal said is yet to catch the big cat in spite of placing two calves in its habitat as prey. A dozen of livestock has been killed by the tiger.Nepal, home to 200 most-sought-after Royal Bengal tigers, has increasingly recorded in modern times, human-wild animal encounter.In early February, a wild tiger was shot dead by the police having injured nine people, involving four policemen, in the vicinity of a national park in south-western Nepal.
