Nigeria Passes Northeast Development Commission Bill

By James Ighalo.The Nigerian Senate has passed Northeast Development Commission Bill after an amendment to include Kano and Plateau States.The Senate is also set to confirm a list of non-career ambassadors.Lagos has 3 nominees while Bauchi, Kaduna, Kano, Katsina , Kwara, Plateau, Rivers, Sokoto and Zamfara all have 2 nominees each.The remaining states have one while the Federal Capital Territory is excluded from presenting non-career ambassadors.Details coming after plenary
