Nigeria vs Egypt: Sanction Likely for Nigeria over Poor Crowd Control

Indications are rife that Nigeria may be sanctioned by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) over allowing too many spectators into the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna on Friday for an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Egypt. It was gathered that an estimated 40,000 crowd was inside the 25,000-capacity stadium as at the time the match kicked off after the Kaduna state government allowed fans free entry.
