Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) set to launch new online border monitoring centre next year

Comptroller General of Immigration, Mr. Mohammed Babadede has revealed plans of the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) to introduce a control centre for online border monitoring by next year and also establish complaint centres. This was announced at the decoration of 41 senior officers, including 14 Assistant Comptroller Generals of Immigration at Abuja yesterday.Babadede described the occasion as one which would motivate officers to stand up and defend their ranks and present a new attitude to challenges facing the country currently.He also stated that migration had become a major problem in the country and advised officers not to allow Nigeria become a victim of terrorism and irregular migrants.He also advised Nigerians to wake up as foreigners were taking over Nigerian jobs and also to shun corruption and laziness.
