Oliseh Resigns as Eagles Coach

Super Eagles’ Coach Sunday Oliseh has resigned from his position. Oliseh announced his resignation in the early hours of Friday on his Twitter account, @SundayOOliseh stating a “lack of support” and “contract violations” as some reasons for his departure. He expressed his gratitude to Nigerians for the honour to have coached the Eagles. “I feel fortunate, blessed and eternally grateful for having had the honour to Play, Captain & Coach this great Nation of ours, Nigeria. “Due to Contract violations, lack of Support, Unpaid wages, Benefits to my players, Asst. Coaches & myself, I resign as Super Eagles Chief Coach,” he said.
