Ooni of Ife Rouses Panic in Washington DC Museum

Ooni of Ife, yesterday, caused major panic at the Smithsonian Museum of African Art, this was due to the traditional rites being performed in his honour; but mistaken for a fire outbreak.The Ooni who is on a tour of the USA, has had different ceremonies performed in his honour at every city he visited. However, no accidents occurred at the ceremony as the thunder god, Sango, spit fire which alerted fire fighters to the venue.According to reports, a dozen fire marshals rushed to the scene with three fire trucks, only to discover that it was a traditional Sango performance. Eyewitnesses add that the officials finally left after being briefed.
