Osinbajo to champion a 3-day mining and construction exhibition

The Acting President of Nigeria I set to declare open a 3-day exhibition/seminar on construction and mining in Nigeria.Dangote Cement, Total Nigera, Africa Finance Corporation and Stanbic Bank, are said to be behind the sponsorship of the exhibition which will be holding between 13th and 15th of this month at the International Conference Centre, Abuja.The organisers said the exhihition/seminar is being organised towards the goal of advancing mining not just in Nigeria but across the West African region, while affording mining and construction companies in the country to exhibit their products and services.During the exhibition, the Federation of Construction Industry (FOCI) will be hosting a construction conference with the theme: “Sustainability of the Construction Industry in Nigeria”.The session which is declared free for all is expected to be handled by key members and experts of the Federation, discussing topics like, financing projects, skilled manpower, and environmental sustainability among others.Representatives of Dangote Industries, Soetec Engineering, Total, CAT Nigeria and Boustani Nigeria will take care of the technical sessions.Designed in partnership with Deloitte Consulting and the Ministry of Mines and Solid Minerals Development, the exhibition is expected to be first of its kind in West Africa.
