Osun Assembly Passes Land Use Charge Bill

The Osun State House of Assembly yesterday passed the State Land Use Charge Bill 2016.The executive bill, “seeks to make provision for the consolidation of all Property and Land Based Rates Law.”According to a statement in Osogbo on Monday by the Chairman, House Committee on Information, Mr. Olatubosun Oyintiloye, the bill was passed following a motion moved by the Leader of the House, Mr. Timothy Owoeye, for the third reading.He added that the bill was seconded by a member representing Ede South Constituency, Nureni Adebisi, at the plenary.
