Oyebanji pleaded not guilty but the prosecutor, Corporal Mary Ajiteru, insisted that the accused committed the offence between May 20 and July 6 at Remdanson Oil and Gas Station, Ikorodu.“The accused has been stealing the money for some time.“She has been taking from proceeds of daily sales at the station totalling N491,915 and this has had effects on the operations of the petrol station,’’ she said.The offence contravened Section 279(1), (2) of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2011.The Magistrate, Mrs Bola Olagbegi-Adelabu, granted the accused N100, 000 bail with two responsible sureties.The case has been adjourned to August 11.Discover more from NewsBreakers
