Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed he’s reached a ”˜verbal agreement’ with the club and is set to extend his stay until 2021.The Argentine who is in his second season at White Hart Lane has played a key role in transforming the side into title challengers since taking over from Tim Sherwood in May 2014.Spurs currently sit second in the English Premier League table, but supporters were worried after Pochettino was recently quoted as saying he’d like to manage PSG in the future.He told reporters: ‘I think that was misunderstood (PSG links). I was captain of PSG and played a few seasons and my former manager called me and made some question for the radio. “One day you like to manage PSG?” Yes, why not. ‘This was all I said. But I can say now to stop that, we reached an agreement to stay two years more, my contract here until 2021. We don’t sign yet but we reached a verbal agreement to stay for the next five years.Pochettino is set to be the highest paid manager in Spurs history.
