Police Raids in Turkey Led to the Death of 5 Militants

A firefight started between Turkish police and Islamic State Group Militants during a search in a house in the central city koya, where 5 militants were killed and four officers injured, an official reported today.The state-run Anadolu Agency also reported that 8 of the militants have been detained as a result of other raids.It came to the notice of the police that an apartment was rented by the militants hence, the need for a security check on homes in the routes often used by the militants, said Koya governor.In the course of the raid, a gun, five automatic rifles and a large amount of ammunition were seized. The attacks of the IS or Kurdish Militants has led to anti-terrorism operations.The IS took responsibility for the attack at an Istanbul nightclub where 39 people were killed in the New Year.
