Professor Urges Govt to Ban Sex Enhancing Drugs, Energy Drinks

 Professor of Neuropharmacology and Toxicology, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences University of Jos Prof Noel Nenman Wannang has urged the Federal Government to place a ban on advertisement and sales of sex enhancing drugs and energy drinks in the country.Wannang explained that life expectancy in the country is nose diving and as such, efforts should be put in place for health promotion.He emphasised that appropriate legislation with implementation strategies should be in place on some imported food items.He reiterated, ‘There should be an enhancement of advocacy on unprocessed foods return to local natural meals in the people’s diet.’
