Remo Stars held Abia Warriors to a goalless draw

Remo Stars on Thursday played a goalless draw in the away match at the home base of Abia Warriors in the Nigeria Professional League.Both teams had their chances, few of which showed that Abia Warriors were more enterprising but could not change the tally in their favour.Sunday Adetunji of Abia Warriors scored a goal but was ruled offside by the central referee in the 56th minute.Another chance lent itself to the Abia side in the 81st minute when Shedrack Asiegbu shot on goal from 20-yards away but was denied by the post.The result for Abia is manageable with 32 points in 10th position on the table however, Remo is kept at the bottom with 23 points.
