Saraki supports passage of NFF bill; assures of positive change

Nigeria’s Senate President, Bukola Saraki is sure the recent Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) Bill passed lately will change the fortunes of the game in the country.Saraki assured that the 8th senate, which he is currently presiding will President will approve the NFF Bill.He said this in Kwara State capital, Ilorin, in an interview with media men.Saraki qualified the bill as something significant to the game of football and that it would enable the administration of the round leather game align with international standard.“We have not always conform with the international status that guided the administration of football in the past but by this bill, we will now fall in line and by so doing, it will now transform the administration of our football’’, he said.The senate president was also confident that Nigerians would abide by the provisions of the law when it is eventually passed and implemented.
