Saraki Wants CCT Chairman to Disqualify Self

 The president of the senate, Bukola Saraki has filed an application before the Code of Conduct Tribunal asking its chairman, Justice Danladi Umar to disqualify himself from his trial. According to the application, the senate president through his lawyer, Ajibola Oluyede, raised the same issue of rights violation, which he canvassed in the fundamental rights enforcement suit that Justice Adamu Abdu Kafarati of the Federal High Court, Abuja dismissed in a judgment on April 15.
