Ivorian midfielder Yaya Toure has been ruled out of Manchester City’s Champions League quarter-final first leg against Paris Saint-Germain, due to a knee injury. Toure missed the 4-0 victory over Bournemouth at the weekend with the problem and manager Manuel Pellegrini will again be without the midfielder in Paris on Wednesday evening. Goalkeeper Joe Hart is available after recovering from a calf injury picked up in the defeat to Manchester United but captain Vincent Kompany is ruled out. ”˜Joe worked without any problem the last day,’ said Pellegrini on Tuesday evening. ”˜Of course, you always have a risk with a player when they are coming back from injury but we made medical tests with Joe and he doesn’t have any problems.’ City is looking to progress to the last four of the Champions League for the first time in the club’s history.
