Freedom came the way of the founder of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu on Wednesday when an Abuja Magistrates Court, presided over by Magistrate Shuaibu Usman struck out all the suits instituted against him (Kanu). This came shortly after the lawyer representing the State Security Services (SSS), Moses Idakwo, filed for discontinuation of the matter on the basis of the instruction from his client. The SSS lawyer argued that the investigations carried out by the service has shown that charges against the IPOB founder could not be entertained by a Magistrate Court due to lack of jurisdiction.
