Human Trafficking Council: US President Appoints Nigerian Journalist

A Nigerian-American Journalist, who is also into Anti-Human Trafficking advocate, Bukola Love Oriola has been appointed as a member of the United States (US) Advisory Council on Human Trafficking by President Barack Obama.According to a statement dated December 16, 2015 and issued by the office of the Press Secretary, White-House, Obama expressed happiness that Oriola alongside 10 others so appointed to serve on the council have taken a decision to serve the country.Obama added that, “They bring their years of experience and expertise to this Administration, and I look forward to working with them.”Oriola was said to have served as an independent consultant, speaker, and author on human trafficking issues since 2009.
