Rivers Governor Swears in Special Advisers

Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, on Saturday swore in 15 new special advisers. This came after the governor approved their appointments. The newly sworn in special advisers include: Fred Ateng, Emmanuel Ekperikpo, Barrister Otonye Briggs, Andy Nwanjokwu, G. Ejimo Nwanyanwu and Victor Dennis Ekaro. Others are: Dr. Ben E.N. Trioru -Otuya, Dr Scott Bernard Aapilla,. Barrister Jones Ogbonda,Mr Bereni Ben Irisofe, Barrister George Ariolu, Barrister Emma Nwutche, Mr John Nwachukwu, Mr Deinma Iyalla and Mr. Opakrite Jackreech. Wike, in a statement signed by his Special Assistant (SA) on Electronic Media, Simeon Nwakaudu, had revealed earlier that the event would take place in the Executive Council Chamber of the government house, Port Harcourt.
