Kano State Governor, Malam Usman Balam has repeated his administration’s determination to improve primary education as the basic foundation that will complement the rest levels of education.

Usman Bala reiterated his plans during his acceptance speech as he received the prestigious award of excellence from the delegation of the Nigeria Students Union of the Bayero University Kano, Kano State chapter, in recognition of his service to the state, at his office, Government House, Kano.

The Governor stated that every building can be sustained on a basic foundation, saying the basic education is primary education which the present administration would ensure its improvement significantly.

‘The greater challenge before the present administration is the improvement in the quality of education at all levels,’ he added.
